Initial Phone Call
When you call English Roofing, a real person will answer your call. If we all happen to be out of the office in the field, we forward the phones to one of our team members. We are just a phone call away. You are important, and your call will be answered.
The first part of our process is to ask questions about your current situation to ensure that we are equipped to properly inspect the issues your home is having on the first visit. We will schedule a time that is convenient to you.
Inspection Appointment
Arrival: Our consultant may arrive at your home up to 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. We respect your home, and will always offer to remove/cover our (sometimes muddy) boots when entering your home. We will ask LOTS of questions and want to hear about your issues and see where problems are happening. There is a wide array of products to fit every budget and style. Let’s talk!
During: We will conduct a visual inspection and take photographs of potential issues. We will take accurate measurements and determine what will best meet your needs and wants.
Approval: Once we understand the problem and know the solution, we will get to work on creating a plan and estimate of options that work for your needs. This includes working with your insurance provider. If you are ready to move forward, you can digitally sign the estimate and will immediately get a copy by email. Otherwise, we will present the estimate and leave you with a copy and send a link to e- sign when you are ready.
Once we have all the details for the scope of work, we will put you on the schedule. Weather plays a major role in how quickly we can get to any job. We will always keep you in the loop if weather will delay your project.
Installation Day
Site Preparation: Our team will arrive on the morning of installation and begin the site preparation process by applying tarps to the perimeter of the house to catch falling small debris. Dump trailers will be parked near the work site, ladders and tools will be unloaded and prepped for work, and safety precautions will be readied.
Delivery of material will usually occur the day before or the morning of installation. Pallets of material will be placed in the driveway and be ready for the installation.
We will give you proper instructions on how to prepare you and your family as well as your home for the day of installation.
Tear Off: Crews will remove all existing roofing material to a clean dry roof deck and conduct a visual inspection of the roof deck for wood rot.
